What Does this sonography Result Mean?

I did a sonography and elastography as a check up routine, and the results revealed echogenic mammary parenchyma, mild retroareolar ductal dilatation, and bilateral small sized likely non-specific axillary lymph nodes. what is echnogenic mammary parenchyma, and the others. the opinion of the sonaography doctor was: bilateral mild mammary fibroadenosis birads 2, and recommended annual screening. What is bilateral mild mammary fibroadenosis? is it something I should worry about and see a doctor for any surgery? Please note that I am currently taking the Nolvadex 5mg as a protection as I previously removed two benign lumps from both breasts, one in 2002 and the other in 2007. You kind reply is highly appreciated

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Your symptoms are due to the miscarriage you undergone. Unless the retained products if any is completely expelled you will be experiencing Stomach Cramps & Heavy bleeding – often passing clots.

I advice you to do a check USG pelvis again to rule out retained products.
- have Healthy diet & iron supplements
- excess fluid intake
- strict bed rest
- Also consult your gynaecologist for further assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
